As Chief Executive Officer, Mike Bolos performs a range of crucial responsibilities that are a vitally important component of both the day-to-day and long-term business operations at Thunderbird. Mike thrives in his role thanks to skills he's sharpened in his legal career, as the founder of multiple consumer product companies, and his world-class education.

In his position, Mike is directly involved with strategic decision-making at both the corporate and plant levels, hosting regular meetings with both Thunderbird's Executive Leadership Team and General Managers. Mike also oversees mergers and acquisitions, including post-merger integration and growth strategies. Responsible for negotiating a majority of Thunderbird acquisitions, Mike has a hands-on approach, utilizing his background as a corporate attorney and business owner to take an active role in assisting Thunderbird and its family of companies in ensuring its continued success and growth.

Prior to his role as CEO, Mike served as Thunderbird's Chief Legal Officer, managing the company's legal matters and advising on a wide range of legal and business issues. Before arriving at Thunderbird, Mike was the founder and CEO of the consumer product company DeskView. Prior to that, he served as an attorney at Jenner & Block, where he counseled clients on national and international antitrust compliance programs, corporate governance, and private equity transactions. Earlier in his career, Mike worked as an attorney at McGuireWoods, focusing on antitrust and trade regulation, class-action litigation, and complex commercial litigation.

Mike earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School. He received a bachelor of science in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University, with studies at Harvard and the University of Oxford.
